Harmonic's Enterprise1 family of router/receiver was launched in 1997 becoming the world's first corporate solution for broadband IP services delivered over satellite, cable and wireless. The Enterprise1 broadband router/receiver provides enhanced Fast Internet access, Intranet and IP Multicast services to LAN users. Targeted at the corporate market, the Enterprise1 family is the flagship of the CyberStream

line of receiver
devices.
Satellite, cable, MMDS and LMDS operators can now provide broadband solutions to corporate customers wanting to deploy high-speed Internet access as part of their Intranet. Enterprise1 routers/receivers are standalone zero maintenance units that provide broadband connectivity to each LAN user, at up to 24 Mbps sustained (48 Mbps peak) for all QPSK version with 64 Mbps peak available in the 8PSK version. Remote management of these units is provided by SNMP with full BER and EbNo data accessi-ble. The Enterprise1 supports alternate RF profiles which can be pre-defined to allow "fallback carrier" capability. In addition to the Enterprise1 BR-501 shelf mounting model.
